Like many farmers, Gerardo has built his life through hard work. Born in Salamina, Caldas, into a large family, he worked hard in the fields from a very young age, striving every day not only to help his family but also to study and prepare himself.
Years later, he and his wife, Cecilia, managed to expand their farm and began cultivating coffee alongside their previous blackberry crop.
On this new path, their main objective was to develop a high-value-added product. Guided by specialty coffee experts, after much experimentation and the implementation of new developments and processes, they gained a deeper understanding of their crop and achieved the delicious coffee you are now enjoying.
