DAY 1
ARRIVAL & WELCOME

Upon arrival in Quindío, cyclists will be greeted at their hotel with a warm welcome and check-in. In the evening, we’ll hold a welcome session where riders can meet their fellow cyclists and guides. We’ll go over the itinerary, provide insights into the region’s cycling routes, and share an introduction to Colombian coffee culture. This day is all about settling in, preparing for the days ahead, and getting excited for the adventure.

DAY 2
SHARPEN YOUR SENSES

Morning: After breakfast, we’ll embark on our first ride through the rolling hills and vibrant landscapes of Quindío’s coffee-growing region. Pedal along scenic trails that wind through coffee plantations, where you’ll stop to interact with local coffee pickers and farmers. Here, you’ll learn firsthand about the art of growing, harvesting, and processing Colombia’s finest coffee beans. It’s an authentic experience that connects you to the heart of Colombia’s coffee culture.

Afternoon:  We’ll take a break from cycling to dive into the world of coffee tasting. Participants will enjoy a basic sensory skills workshop, where you’ll discover how to appreciate coffee’s aromas, flavors, and textures. You’ll learn the art of cupping and deepen your understanding of how different factors influence coffee profiles.

DAY 3
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR COFFEE

Morning: We will travel magical routes that cross mountains and mountain villages, enjoying spectacular views and the vibrant atmosphere of the region.

In the middle of our ride and while you enjoy a magical landscape, you will be able to learn and enjoy a tasting of origins.

Afternoon: Coffee Preparation Workshop.

– History and evolution of filtering methods.
– Preparation techniques to highlight unique flavors.
– Tasting of filtered coffees.
– Practical tips to prepare an excellent coffee at home.
– Pairing session to find the best accompaniments.

DAY 4
TIME TO COME BACK HOME

Even the best experiences always come to an end.

Morning: We will enjoy a last short tour through the landscapes of Quindío, saying goodbye to this magical land.

Afternoon: Time to return home. The experience comes to an end with unforgettable memories, a deep knowledge of Colombian coffee and, of course, a suitcase full of the best Mítico Specialty Coffee.

In this workshop you will learn the history, technique and secrets to highlight the unique flavors of each origin, along with practical tips to replicate the experience at home. Transform each cup into a masterpiece!

• Interactive Coffee Rides: Live a unique experience cycling through the majestic landscapes of Quindío, while immersing yourself in the fascinating world of coffee. During these routes, you will visit coffee farms, interact with coffee pickers and discover the coffee process from its origin, all in the midst of an incomparable natural environment. Pedal, learn and enjoy the magic of Colombian coffee!
• Interactive Routes: During the Coffee Rides, cyclists will have the opportunity to learn about each stage of coffee, from planting and harvesting to processing and roasting. In addition, they will enjoy an outdoor tasting experience, surrounded by the spectacular coffee landscapes of Quindío.
